Sandler Neurosciences Building CIN Conference Rooms

The Sandler Neurosciences Building has multiple CIN conference rooms & a hotel space (CIN only) available as shared resources for the UCSF neuroscience community. Conference rooms are available to reserve through Microsoft Outlook and Teams. Conference rooms will have automatic approval based on availability. To reserve the hotel space, scan the QR code on the door of room 514 (requires approval).

Usage Guidelines

  • Please be mindful of your reserved time, being sure to vacate the room when your reservation has expired. Additionally, please be sure to remove reservations of all cancelled meetings.
  • Reservations for group meetings take priority. Please note that if you are booking a conference room for individual use, your reservation may be subject to cancellation should the space be needed.
  • Please leave the room in the same or better condition than how you found it, leaving all accessories (HDMI cables, etc.) in place. Members of the community who have left conference rooms in any state of disarray will be subject to a cleaning charge. If you find the room in disarray upon entry, please report findings to Marcus Cavness ([email protected]external site (opens in a new window)) to avoid incurring a charge for a mess you did not make. 

Booking Procedure

Each conference room is assigned a unique email address corresponding with the room number:
neurosciences[room number]@ucsf.edu

For example:
The address for Conference Room 438 is [email protected]

Reservation requests can be submitted using Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft Teams:

  • Open the Calendar feature
  • Select the option for a new Meeting
    • Either:
      • Add the applicable conference email address to the To: line
      • Or search the room name under the Location: line
        For example search: neurosciences - sn438
  • Supply a meeting name under the Subject: line
  • Enter the requested Start and End meeting date and time
  • Hit send

AV Systems

All conference rooms are equipped with built-in AV resources. For Zoom equipment, please check out an OWL unit from suite 535.
